The PERMAGREEN Story

PERMAGREEN was founded in 1981 as a small lawn care company. As demand grew for other services, Permagreen expanded into landscape installation to provide customers with the services to update and install landscaping on their properties. As Permagreen grew and took on new capabilities it became a company noted for working closely with its customers and providing high quality service and products.

Permagreen is a member of the Better Business Bureau and the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association. We are fully insured and licensed and fully guarantee our work. If you are not 100% satisfied with our work, you do not pay.

The PERMAGREEN Staff

The Austin family owns and operates PERMAGREEN from its current location in Corcoran Minnesota.

Wayne Austin is the President and General Manager of the company. Prior to purchasing Permagreen in 2001, he worked in the outdoor power equipment industry as a quality assurance professional. He manages the day-to-day business operations allowing his staff to concentrate on working closely with their customers.

Wade Austin is the Operations Manager of the Lawn Care division. Wade is a graduate of the Michigan State University Turf Grass Program and worked in the Golf Course industry for over 12 years prior to joining Permagreen. His education and the experience he gained in the Golf industry makes him a valuable asset to our customers. He can provide them with quality service as well as helping them solve any problems with their property maintenance.

Pat Hamer is the Landscape Sales Manager and he provides direct customer support including helping customers develop ideas and plans for landscaping. Permagreen provides complete landscape design services to insure the customers get the final landscape that meets their needs, provides the features they want and enhances the value of their property. Pat has been in the landscaping business for over 20 years and is a great resource to our landscaping customers.

Troy Fisher manages our landscape installation crews. Troy works closely with each customer to insure that the installation goes per plan and that the customer is satisfied with the final product. Troy has been working in landscaping for over 15 years and is not happy until the job is done right.

Our crewmembers and crew supervisors are local residents that have chosen landscaping and lawn care as their careers.
